Comparing the Nokian Tyres Seasonproof 2 to benchmark all-season tyres, the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6, Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3, Michelin CrossClimate 2, and Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF 3, TÜV SÜD found that Seasonproof 2 delivers similar or superior performance in dry, wet and snowy conditions, and on the basis of these results awarded the tyre the TÜV SÜD Premium Tire Test Mark.
According to Nokian Tyres, the tyre’s core technical concept is something known as Season Sense 2.0. The tyre maker elaborates that Season Sense 2.0 integrates “advanced innovations” in both the tread design and rubber compound. A directional ‘Triple Zone’ tread pattern delivers “tailored safety features, enhancing handling and stability, snow performance, and wet-weather safety.” The new Season Smart rubber compound “improves safety and offers performance benefits.” This compound is optimised for year-round driving and comes with a combination of renewable resins and renewable silica.
