With the PremiumContact 6, Continental’s tyre developers have aimed to bridge the gap between a comfortable and sporty tyre. Like its predecessors, the ContiSportContact 5 and ContiPremiumContact 5, the PremiumContact 6 offers top-class braking performance, particularly on wet roads.
The Continental Premium Contact 6 has been designed as a sporty driving tyre while still being safer due to its improved tread. The Contact 6 uses a silica compound to improve wet braking while also being able to increase mileage, this is because of the wear optimised polymer blend this also improves driving comfort and lowers the exterior noise. The use of advanced macro block tread design maximises the cornering stability giving better grip and allowing the driver to feel more in control.

Test Results
205/55 R16 V
Test Winner - the braking advantage of the Premium Contact 6 secures it a test win...If you prefer driving dynamics over comfort, this is the tyre to pick.
205/55 R16 -
Satisfactory - took a win in the key wet test, yet it could only manage fifth in the dry assessment... The usual confidence-inspiring grip on the wet track was absent.
245/45 R18 Y
"Exemplary" - strengths: balanced with convincing performance on wet and dry roads, stable and safe wet and dry handling, precise steering in the wet, short wet and dry braking distances - Weaknesses: slightly elevated tyre/road noise
225/55 R17 Y
"Exemplary" - strengths: top performance on a dry track, short wet and dry braking distances - Weaknesses: Only verage traction in mud and on stony ground
225/40 R18 Y
"Very good" - strengths: Balanced at the highest level, resistance to aquaplaning, comfortable, very good in all driving dynamics disciplines - Weaknesses: at most slight deficits in rolling resistance
235/45 R18 ---
"Recommended" - strengths: safe wet or dry - Weaknesses: expensive
