For more than a year, Mercedes-AMG has equipped versions of its CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé riding on 19-inch rims with the Yokohama Advan Sport V107 as an original equipment tyre. In June 2025 it expanded Yokohama Rubber’s supply to this model and is now additionally fitting the Advan Sport V107 on cars with 20-inch rims. The CLE 53 4MATIC+ wears the Yokohama tyre in size 265/35ZR20 (99Y) on the front axle and 295/30ZR20 (101Y) at the rear.
Part of its global flagship range, Yokohama Rubber targets Advan Sport V107 at premium car categories and jointly develops these tyres with “leading premium car manufacturers,” putting them through “rigorous testing at Yokohama Rubber’s test centre at the Nürburgring” before granting final approval. The tyre maker underwent this process of joint development with Mercedes-AMG and denotes the vehicle manufacturer’s involvement by featuring its ‘MO1’ marking on the tyres’ sidewalls.
Sharing some details about the Advan Sport V107, Yokohama Rubber attributes the tyre’s good dry handling stability and low rolling resistance to its proprietary mound profile technology, which delivers uniform surface contact pressure, as well as a tyre casing that it optimised for rigidity. A long list of Mercedes-AMG models has already left the factory equipped with Yokohama Advan Sport V107 tyres. At present, Yokohama Rubber supplies these tyres for the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ and the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC.
