The return of the Premier League will see runaway leaders Liverpool FC travel only to the other side of Stanley Park on Sunday, when they take on Everton in the Merseyside derby. However, the team bus will need to cover much greater distances before the season is completed. And it is primed to roll on official tyre sponsor, Falken's rubber. Protyre fits the Falken RI151 to the 12.9l Irizar I8, supplied and operated by St Helens-based Ellisons.

The service is available within five miles of the 215 selected Autocentres – see full list below this article. Halfords is charging £19.99 for the service. The autocentre chain explained that customers must book the service over the phone and ensure their vehicle is parked in a suitable location.

Next was the axle and wheel combination that is central to vehicular operations today. Top 10 factors that would make drivers buy an electric car

The top ten factors that would make a driver buy an electric car include trusting the technology, saving money, convenient and quick charging, and being able to travel a long distance on a single charge. The survey in January by Opinium of 2000 UK drivers, commissioned by InsuretheGap, a leading supplier of GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection), reveals, however, that over half (57 per cent) of drivers are still too daunted by the issues around electric vehicles to buy one (men 54 per cent and women 59 per cent). Older drivers are even more likely to feel this (over 55s, 62 per cent, and 18 – 34s, 50 per cent).

Falken drivers ready for different 24-hour challenge

The ADAC TOTAL 24h of the Nürburgring is one of global motorsport’s great endurance events, with 300,000 spectators descending on the circuit every year. It is a major event for many tyre manufacturers, including Falken, whose motorsport and marketing teams alike build their years around the event. The COVID-19 related rescheduling for September has therefore left many Falken representatives at a bit of a loose end this weekend, when the event was due to be held. Fortunately, the tyre brand’s team is followed by an enthusiastic fan base, which has helped devise 24 challenges for its drivers to do at home.
