Pirelli tyres for scaled-down Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is back, albeit in three-quarters scale and powered by an electric engine that’s good for around 60mph. Ferrari has collaborated with The Little Car Company to create the Ferrari Testa Rossa J. Each of the 299 vehicles produced will wear Pirelli Cinturato tyres as original equipment.

Bridgestone tyres for the Fisker Ocean

When the Fisker Ocean arrives in the UK in 2023, all versions of this electric SUV will wear Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres. Fisker will fit the Potenza Sport in two sizes, 255/50 R20 and 255/45 R22, to Ocean models sold throughout Europe. Customers in North America will receive the Potenza Sport on selected models, and Fisker will fit the all-season Bridgestone Alenza Sport to other models.

We’d already heard those lucky owners of the road-homologated super sports would receive the custom-developed Bridgestone Potenza Sport, and Bridgestone shares that they can now choose a bespoke version of the Potenza Race in size 245/30 ZR20 at the front and 305/30 ZR20 on the rear axle.

Promobil compares tyres for van-based campers

Not all campervans are ponderous wheeled boxes that slow traffic. Van-based vehicles such as VW’s facelifted Transporter 6.1 deliver driving dynamics approaching those of saloons and SUVs – and demand tyres that are up to the job. Specialist publication Promobil put the new VW T6.1 through its paces fitted with eight brands of size 235/55 R17 tyre – all reinforced ‘C’ (for commercial) models – and found a clear winner.

Pirelli launching Cinturato Winter 2

Pirelli is making preparations for the upcoming winter. In addition to its existing P Zero Winter UHP tyre, Scorpion Winter SUV and crossover range and its Carrier Winter line for vans and light commercial vehicles (not to mention the new Cinturato All Season SF2 all-season tyre), the Italian brand is now introducing a new winter product for medium-sized cars and crossovers – the Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2.
