Falken Motorsports has participated in the Nürburgring 24 Hours for a quarter century and speaks from experience when it says the race “doesn’t hand out victories easily.” Instead, the annual 24-hour endurance event “pushes you, punishes you and makes you wait.” Despite this, the Falken Motorsports team has never lost sight of their main aim. “Expectations remain. For 25 seasons, Falken Motorsports has arrived at the Nordschleife with the same goal: to win.” A new video tells the story of their latest visit to the Green Hell.
The latest film is called Expectations and is the 16th produced by motionctrl and Falken. It tells the story of Falken’s weekend of high hopes, setbacks and unfinished business. It also focuses on Falken’s drivers and the pressures they must withstand over the gruelling 24-hour period.
Shot during the 53rd edition of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, in Falken’s garages and across the circuit’s many twists and turns, the film uncovers the determination of a team that refuses to stop chasing the dream. Two separate film crews collected 18 hours of raw footage over the race weekend – multiple terabytes of data. Again, Falken was given exclusive access to the Nordschleife for filming purposes, allowing the film crews to capture some truly cinematic shots.
Falken is confident that it “left its mark” on 24-hour race in 2025 and emphasises that its team remains more committed than ever before. “Expectations don’t fade. They’ll wait here next year. And that’s fine. Because so are we.”
